11/26/07 - The Westwood Fire Department will be escorting Santa Claus through downtown Westwood on Saturday night 12/1 at Westwood's Annual Home For the Holidays Parade. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and will end at Veteran's Park where Santa will light the tree and hand out candy to the kids!

gas leak at school in hillsdale

 

11/16/07 - On Friday morning the Hillsdale Fire Department requested mutual aid for one truck company to respond to Pascack Valley High School for a gas leak. 14 Truck responded and assisted the HFD in locating the source of the leak. Students and staff were evacuated from the school and sent home early. The source of leak was located in the basement and was secured before fire crews left the scene.
